Transfer

It’s over!
They just woke me.
Today is transfer day.

Filthy cell.
Rotten food.
Horrible cell mates.

Haven’t eaten in 5 days.
Hardly slept as well.
Feared for my life.

Down the stairs.
Police van without windows.
We are 10 prisoners, hushed by the event.

Rushing through town.
Rough stop and go.
Bumped my head.

Van stops.
Yelling.
Police.

Main railway station Leipzig.
Gathered and pushed.
Side entrance, west.

Police men with machine guns.
One shackles an iron chain around my wrist.
It hurts like hell as he starts rushing me upstairs.

These shackle chains were used by the police guards that pushed me across the entire railway station (26 platforms, largest in Europe), into the catacombs and another kilometer outside the public area to board the prison train.

The journey begins.
